Cynthia's career began after she relocated to New York in order to develop into a fashion designer. Soon thereafter, Cynthia booked her second cover, and established the tone for her career success. Then, she went to Paris in addition to Milan. In Milan, she appeared on the runways for Paris Fashion Week as well as Milan Fashion Week. Cynthia was highly sought-after upon her return to New York City from living in Europe for almost a year. Cynthia was featured in campaigns for Maybelline Oil of Olay, Macy's as well as Macy's. Vogue's, Glamour's, Elle's Essence's Vanity Fair magazine editorials soon followed. Cynthia was chosen by Naomi Campbell over Naomi Campbell as co-star with Sandra Bernhadt for the film, "Without You, I'm nothing."
